Add a professional touch to your project with Dollar Bill Printing's bindery and finishing services. Let us fold booklets, number pages and bind reports while you focus on your presentation.

Bindery and Finishing Services

Once you've printed your documents, you need one or two final touches to pull the project together. If you're presenting a report, you need to bind the pages together so you're not juggling 30 sheets of loose-leaf paper. Brochures need to be folded, while tear-off coupons need perforation. Unfortunately, you might not have the time or ability to add these finishing touches at home. That's why Dollar Bill Printing offers bindery and finishing services so you can get back to completing your presentation.

What Are Your Project Binding Options?

Dollar Bill Printing offers numerous binding services for your next project. Here's a look at what we can do:

  • Coil binding. This type of binding offers a continuous loop of solid black plastic, allowing for 360-degree page turning. When you choose this option, we can bind up to 265 pages together. Coil binding is popular for documents that need to be opened and referenced regularly.

  • Hole punch binding. When you request hole punch binding, we punch holes along the side of the document and use a binder to hold the pages together.

  • Comb binding. Also known as "plastic binding," comb binding involves a black spine with tabs that loop through the holes punched in the edge of the document. With comb binding, you can bind up to 425 pages together and add and remove pages whenever you want, making it great for workbooks and handouts.

  • Staple binding. You can request diagonal staples in the corner or barely noticeable staples along the spine of the book.

  • Tape binding. This clean type of binding involves a black strip of tape attached to the side, holding the entire book together.

The different types of bindings don't just hold the pages together — they accentuate your report's overall design and appearance. Ask us for a consultation for more information about additional types of binding.

Can You Order Folding and Booklet Making Services?

For pamphlets and booklets, we offer two different options: single-sheet folding and multiple-sheet folding. Single-sheet folding is great for brochures, pamphlets, maps and event programs. Choose from half-folds, trifolds and letter folds according to your specifications. When you need multiple pages, our booklet-making machine folds several sheets in half, then staples them together. This is popular for booklets, magazines and multi-page reports.

What About Slits and Perforations?

You could include a coupon on your mailer or postcard and let customers cut it out themselves. However, they're more likely to use the coupon if you add perforation so they can tear off the card with ease. Customers won't just appreciate the convenience — they'll enjoy the tactile activity that makes them feel like they're taking an active role in their consumerism.

Cutting, scoring and creasing are just a few other ways you can finalize your projects. Slits and creases add convenience and interactivity to your documents, especially marketing materials. At Dollar Bill Printing, our machines can cut, slit, crease, fold, score, trim, and perforate your documents in a fraction of the time that it would take to do it at home.

Does Dollar Bill Printing Offer Digital Numbering?

Yes! Add unique numbers to your documents with our digital numbering services. Our digital software prints numbers on forms, documents, invoices, contracts, raffle tickets and anything else that needs to be enumerated. Since we use advanced technology, our services come with additional options such as adding a date stamp that you won't find with old-fashioned numbering machines.
